Who is behind Vermix
Vermix grew out of our own working vermifarm: out of daily hands-on work, real mistakes, lost populations and searching for answers in scientific papers and books.
We are working vermifarmers
We bring living biology, daily work with organic matter and digital control together in one clear tool. And we built it for ourselves first, to translate complex biology into the language of precise data.
That’s why everything in the code is our real experience. Not theory, but technology proven over years, which we test every day on our vermifarm.
Our goal: for you not to need us
We don’t want to tie you down with a lifelong subscription or endless paid consultations, or to hide “secret technology”. If in 9–12 months you learn to raise worms yourself and understand every process, that’s a success for us. We want to hand you working tools, teach you, share our experience and build a community of eco-enthusiasts together.

Why Vermix isn’t theory
Every algorithm in the platform was tested on our vermifarm before it reached you.
10+ years of experience
For more than ten years we have worked hands-on in the substrate: starting cycles, testing different worm species, processing organic matter and producing fertilizer at real volumes. Every algorithm and feed calculator in the code comes from solving real problems: the acidification and overheating we went through ourselves.
A working operation
We have our own vermifarm. Here we test approaches, produce vermicompost and worm tea, and try out everything that goes into the product. It’s our proving ground, and every rule you see in the app was tested there.
Biology meets data
The Vermix team brings together biologists, hands-on vermiculturists and software engineers. We took guesswork out of vermiculture and replaced it with data discipline, a clear interface and the VermiGuard safety system.
Feed depletion
A shortage of available organic matter slows processing down. The population stays alive but stops growing and starts using up its own reserves.
